Vice President of Technology – Residential & Commercial Real Estate – Operations, Salesforce, CRM, Web & Mobile Applications, Ads & Marketing Systems, Lead Generation, Metrics, Tools Full Time

Our client for over 14 years is a highly successful real estate brokerage with HQ in Manhattan serving a wide range of clientele from residential HNW and luxury sales, to commercial leasing, to the fast moving apartment rental market. The mission for this role is to make sure that the firm is utilizing all of the cost efficient technology available to maximize efficiency and ROI and to keep our firm on the cutting edge to survive and thrive in the rapidly changing real estate industry.

This is a tremendous opportunity for a hands-on web and mobile applications developer to vet, implement, and lead the company in the right direction on all technologies the firm uses for business operations, lead generation, merchandising, advertising and marketing, and anything else the future holds, which you will craft and turn into reality.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and gain a deep understanding of current technology and operating procedures.
• Brainstorm and research available tools and technologies, conduct competitive analysis taking into account pricing, and make recommendations to senior management.
• Create a master plan to implement changes in technologies and procedures within the company taking into account the importance of user adoption.
• Oversee the rollout of all technology, software development and integration, and all consultants involved.
• Once changes are implemented, oversee all of the technology and constantly evaluate new technologies and options as they come out to make sure the firm is staying ahead of the curve.
• Setup and onboard all new employee accounts, emails, laptops, phone, tools, etc. and act as the go to resource for all internal issues involved in usage of the firm’s technology and platforms.

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of hands on web application and software development experience in common web/mobile technologies like node.js, AngularJS, React/React Native, or other similar web frameworks and technologies
• Experience building and integrating to web services and REST APIs/JSON
• Social media and social advertising platform integration and/or administration experience with tools like Google AdWords, Facebook, Display and Search Advertising, Instagram, etc is highly desired.
• Experience working within real estate, or understanding of the real estate market is a plus, but not required
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus, but not required
