You love data and have a knack for being able to decompose complex problems into simple parts. You can also do the reverse, taking atomic data units and building them up into insightful business intelligence reports. You love working with clients to provide insights and solve problems. You also are looking to build your leadership skills by being the initial member of a Data Analytics team, and over time building a team of analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large data sets using SQL and BI tools to provide unique insights to advertising clients
  • Link rich geospatial data in novel and creative ways
  • Provide feedback, insights, and ideas to Product Managers to develop insightful and useful advertising analytics reports
  • Work closely with both clients and in field engineers to analyze and address hot client issues
  • Over time, lead and build a team of stellar data analysts

  • Solid knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
  • Big Data analytics experience
  • UNIX shell scripting

  • B.S. in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative field

  • Knowledge of 3rd party data and pricing in RTB ecosystems
  • Experience with Hadoop and/or Cassandra
  • Working knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of R, Matlab, and/or Mathematica
  • RESTful API knowledge
  • Experience with business intelligence & data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Significant experience with Google Analytics, AdWords, or other digital advertising platforms
