Data Product Manager - Mobile Advertising, Data Management Platform, DMP, Geolocation, Product Requirement Documents, PRDs, Use Cases, wireframing, Balsamiq, Product Roadmap, Taxonomies, Segmentation, Geographic Data - Santa Clara, CA

The Data Product Manager will lead product development and integration efforts with large scale point of interest geographic databases and will ensure coherence of system geographic data to enable the building and development of segments for mobile advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Assume product leadership for geographic-based functional components
  • Work collaboratively with other product managers to ensure that geographic data element outputs are cleanly categorized via a standardized data taxonomy
  • Define desired product functionality, and work with development and QA teams to ensure that the feature is delivered as specified
  • Define data segment lifecycles and analytics reports
  • Work closely with UI/UX engineers to ensure that product features are implemented in a manner that is intuitive for end users
  • Work with Data Science and Marketing teams to identify and promote high value data segments in various marketplaces

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong product management skills, with proven experience writing detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and use cases
  • Expertise in 3rd party display advertising data segment pricing and management
  • Ability to wireframe designs and knowledge of wireframing tools such as Balsamiq
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills with a collaborative attitude
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A driven and disciplined individual with a strong work ethic
  • B.S. in Engineering

Nice to Have

  • Mathematical modeling experience and/or experience with statistical programming languages such as R
  • MBA
