Our ad tech client is seeking a highly motivated Ad Operations Campaign Manager to join our owner-operator team building the trading platform, campaign and account management capabilities that will enable our best-in-class programmatic digital media trading strategies.  The Operations team is responsible for the implementation and execution of digital campaigns, publisher optimization and proprietary trading and is responsible for optimizing revenue and performance on behalf of our clients and the firm.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Trafficking and managing ad campaigns for advertisers, and inventory avails for publishers
  • Work with the Media Strategy team to develop strategies for upcoming campaigns and prepare for delivery
  • Manage client accounts for ongoing trading from start to finish
  • Streamline and develop campaign execution processes
  • Ensure the accurate and timely execution of digital campaigns and data collection
  • Maximize conversion and revenue opportunities across the board
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise anywhere within the process
  • Work with technology and quantitative strategy to develop our own proprietary platforms and algorithms
  • Execute buys/sells in exchange platforms including LiveRail, FBX, AppNexus and others
  • Understands how to leverage and utilize DMPs such as Lotame
  • Familiarity with 3rd party data providers

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong team player and complete self-starter capable of working in a demanding start-up environment
  • Strong fundamentals in digital media advertising with a good understanding of the digital media eco-system
  • Strong understanding of RTB and Exchange Trading for digital media
  • 18+ months experience in advertising / digital media operations.  Must have lead and run campaigns from start to finish, coordinating amongst various stakeholders, and directly executing against platforms.
  • Comfortable working with and optimizing lead gen and direct response campaigns
  • Ability to manage campaign budgets, impressions and pacing
  • Highly capable in dealing in AppNexus (+ other DSPs), Lotame (+other DMPs), DFA (+ other ad servers), Rubicon/Pubmatic, AdMeld (+ other SSP/Exchanges), Evidon, AdSafe, BlueKai, Brillig, and other platforms, technologies, and vendors
  • Ability to manage data flow between 1st and 3rd parties, DMP and our own internal platform
  • Proficiency with SalesForce.com and Excel
  • Effective organizational skills and process/project management abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Adept at learning new products and service offerings
  • Undergraduate degree
