Product Manager, Ad Technology - Product Requirements Documents, PRDs, Wireframes, Mockups, Flows, Usability, User Interface - RTB, DSP, DMP, SSP, Programmatic, Display, Video, Mobile, Social - Shanghai or Beijing, China or Hong Kong

Our ad tech client with a private supply of data and attribution about the Asia and China market, is seeking a Product Manager for their Ad Technology platforms, working with customers on discovering requirements, prioritizing the product roadmap, producing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), and working with the technology team on delivering solutions to market.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Ability to envision innovative solutions to solve business needs and overcome technology challenges
  • Proficiency distilling customer needs into product requirements, and communicating these effectively in the form of Product Requirements Documents (PRDs)
  • Capability to illustrate product ideas effectively in the form of wireframes, mockups, flows and drawings
  • Experience working closely in collaboration with technology teams as they build solutions to your design
  • Strong sense for usability and efficiency: end-users will both enjoy using and realize productivity gains from the products you help create

Skills & Attributes

  • 3+ years of experience in digital advertising (Display, mobile or video)
  • 5+ year managing products, projects or people
  • Successful track record of delivering quality results in complex cross-functional projects
  • Deep understanding of the display advertising ecosystem
  • Specific experience in Mobile or Video advertising
  • Experience with SEM and SEO a bonus
  • Familiarity with RTB buying platforms (direct experience working at or with a DSP, Agency or Trading Desk is a plus)
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • An ability to prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
  • BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)


  • Must be native or professionally proficient in spoken and written English
  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a huge plus, otherwise must be willing to learn
