Our client, a European ad tech solution provider for internet publishers, portals, and other content site owners, is looking for an experienced Country Manager, Business Development Executive to manage our market entry into the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Target and manage a defined market segment and territory of digital publishers in the US
  • Tightly manage a lead pipeline according to our structured sales processes
  • Initiate, develop, and close sales opportunities with senior level executives (CxO) in digital media businesses
  • Help uncover new deals and nurture existing opportunities with multi-channel follow-up
  • Proactively participate in trade events, shows, and conferences appropriate to the marketplace to build relationships and heighten visibility of the business unit
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the needs of prospects in the digital advertising marketplace
  • Use knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to educate customers on value of our solutions
  • Provide input to aid in the development of new products or services that could be applicable and inform Product Management and Marketing on customer and market needs and trends

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding and interest in digital advertising marketplace (ad campaign planning and buying) or ad serving technologies in any capacity
  • 3+ years of relevant experience selling enterprise cloud or ad technology solutions
  • Proven success of selling to Senior Level Executives (CxO) in Online Advertising, Online Publishing and Interactive Media companies strongly preferred, for example ad serving technologies
  • Full working knowledge of our underlying platform built on salesforce.com
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Willingness to work independently
  • High-energy, proactive and ambitious attitude
