Our client, a major Media, Technology & Audience Management solution provider working within the world's largest media investment company is looking for an Analyst, Automated Trading who is responsible for the planning, setup, and execution of Audience Targeted campaigns in accordance with the strategy and objective of our clients.

These specialists use multiple interfaces, in a self-service capacity, to discover audiences and target them via media buying tools (DSPs) across various channels. Campaigns need to be maintained and optimized frequently to achieve KPI goal and deliver completely. You will be expected to interact with multiple tech support teams for setup and troubleshooting, and collaborate with our Automated Trading teammates continually for support and promote knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist or lead in the development of audience targeted proposals, and deliver as requested by the RFP
  • Provide pricing and budget guidance for RTB proposals
  • Lead the setup and launch of each campaign in the designated media buying platform
  • Proactively optimize for maximum performance and delivery 
  • Monitor budget for campaign pacing and issue periodic projection analyses and reallocation recommendations
  • Communicate thoroughly, respond rapidly, and escalate urgent matters to managers
  • Research and recommend incremental opportunities for client campaigns
  • Collaborate with our Automated Trading team, and continually share knowledge
  • Develop and maintain relationships with data, inventory, and platform vendors
  • Keep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, workshops and current events
  • Seek education and information pertaining to client's business
  • Attend and participate in client meetings as needed

Essential Qualifications 

  • 1-2 years of overall online/digital experience, ideally with a background in Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), Real-Time Buying (RTB), Ad Exchanges, Self-Service Social Advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), and/or other ad serving platforms
  • Strong understanding of digital display media and advertising landscape, including key technologies, business models, ad products, and industry standard metrics
  • Media planning/buying experience is a plus
  • Strong technical/analytical aptitude
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Quick learner who loves to pick up new tools for reporting and analysis – and troubleshoot technical issues through to resolution
  • Intelligent, entrepreneurial type with strong technical acumen
  • Effective communicator and collaborator
  • HTML/Javascript experience a plus
  • 4-year college degree required
  • A passion for digital marketing
